 Joe Galea represents a wealth of experience both overseas and in Australia, starting off in those amazing early days in Sydney with such performers as Billy Thorpe, Max Merritt, The Beegees, Renee Geyer and many more. His band often being support act for many overseas artists and having records in the Australian charts. After returning from entertaining the American Troups in Vietnam and performing in some of Asia’s top star Hotels, Joe settled in to performing all round Australia with his top line show band singing what people loved to hear - Soul and Rythmn and Blues. These days Joe is again showing that - like the Pied Piper - people love to follow him where ever he performs. People in the audience approach him, full of praise for his ability to reach them with his gutsy style and showmanship - a cliché from a professional photographer at Wangaratta Festival called him “The Nightingale on Steroids”! The Joe Galea Band has done several Festivals over the last few months - Wangaratta, Mulwala, Mordialloc on the Bay to name a few. The response from the audience is always the same, he leaves them wanting more. An asset to any Festival or Venue, with his handpicked talented musicians behind him, Joe is extremely particular that every show he does is totally professional and what the crowd want to hear.
